Parishioner Baltazar Rafael is selling $5 raffle tickets for a hand-made traditional Guatemalan skirt & shirt to help him pay his way to the Regional Encuentro in          Miami which he has been chosen as a diocesan delegate to attend.  If you would like to buy a ticket or make a donation please talk to Fr. St. Alphonsus has a raffle for 2 tickets to the Kentucky vs. Florida Basketball Game on January 20, 2018, (Game at 8:15 P.M.), if anyone is interested purchasing tickets, Kay Beth has some. They are $10 each and includes (2 tickets), a room at the Hilton in downtown Lexington, and a $50 gift card to Saul Good Restaurant and Pub. Financial Peace University: The Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University ‘s next Class will be offered starting on Thursday, January 18th at St. Pius X’s (Owensboro) Parish Hall with an  option of attending on Sunday evenings.  The class is for nine weeks with ½ of the cost of $90 refunded for those missing no more than one class.  This makes a great Christmas gift.  Free      childcare will be offered. Marriage Saving – the Weekend Phase – During the weekend phase of Retrouvaille (pronounced retro-vi with a long i) a series of presentations are given by a team of three couples and a priest. The team presents a technique of communication that enables you to take a good look at most areas of your relationship. After each presentation you have time to discuss the presentation in the privacy of your room.
