The Angel Tree is up!  If you’d like to help buy presents for needy children in the area please consider taking a few angels.  You can return the gifts to church in the morning on Sunday, Dec. 18th.

More money counters are needed to count the collection either after the 10:30am mass or during the week.

 

Our Parish Family

Parish Council Elections: Congratulations to Devin Gibson and Jimmy Frederick who have been chosen for a three year term on our Parish Council.  Thanks for accepting this            responsibility!  Thanks to Jenny Glenn for her three years of dedication to the Council and to Devin Gibson for serving the past year to finish out the term someone couldn’t finish.

Advent Scripture Study: The first three Mondays of Advent (Nov. 30th, Dec. 7th & 14th) you are invited to a Bible Study at 6pm to help us prepare spiritually for the Christmas           season.  It will be a very popular video-based study with time for sharing & discussion.  Invite your friends and family!

Parish Council Minutes Available: There are copies of the parish council minutes available by the door or online at smsebree.org/our-parish/our-leadership/

Christmas Mass Schedule: on Dec. 24th we will have Mass in English at 5pm, Mass in Spanish at 7pm and on Dec. 25th we will have mass at 12pm (language will depend on who is here).  Invite your friends &  family who may be looking for a church home to celebrate the holidays!

Holy Day: On Dec. 8th, the Feast of the Immaculate           Conception (Holy Day of Obligation) there will be mass at 12pm (language depending on crowd), 6pm in English and 7pm in Spanish.

Year of Mercy begins on Dec. 8, 2015 through Nov. 20, 2016.  Stay tuned for the many ways we will commemorate this Extraordinary Jubilee year in our Diocese and our Parish.    For more information visit: www.usccb.org/jubilee-of-mercy

Novena to Our Lady of Guadalupe: Each day from Dec. 3rd to Dec. 11th we will pray the rosary in a different home in preparation for the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.  All are welcome to join us—Ask Patti for the schedule &                location of each rosary.
