Can you help? For our big annual fundraiser at the St. Michael Feast Day we are in need of a small freezer to sell popsicles. From 12-4pm could you help serve food, paint faces or supervise one of the kid’s games? Please take a flyer to hang up at work or your favorite local restaurant! Please help us spread the word with your friends and family!
St. Michael Feast Day begins in unity & prayer on Sunday, Sept. 24th at 10:30am in procession from church to the park, 11am bilingual mass in park followed by parish picnic style fundraiser. Please make plans to join your parish family in celebrating our patron feast! NOTE: there will be no 10:30am or 12pm masses at St. Michael’s that day! But we will still have the Saturday 5pm and Sunday 7:30pm masses.
Do you wish kids today knew more about our faith? Could you lend a hand? Our parish family is starting Religious Education this week for our K-6 graders on Wednesday evenings (5:45-7pm) and youth group for middle & high schoolers on Thursday afternoons (3:30-5pm) but we still need more adults to pull it off! Could you volunteer? Or rotate with a group of volunteers? All materials and training provided. Call or text Patti(302-2782) and she can tell you more details.
Chris Gutiérrez will be ordained a permanent deacon on Saturday, Sept. 16th at 10am at Holy Spirit parish in Bowling Green. Anyone who would like to attend is welcome and all of St. Michael’s parish family is invited to join him for a party at Gasper River Retreat Center that afternoon (bring your play clothes!) 2695 Jackson Bridge Rd, Bowling Green. On Sunday, Sept 17th there will be a small reception following each morning mass.

Vocations Ministry Workshop: If you would like to learn more about how to promote vocations in your family, community or parish please make plans to join Rhonda Gruenewald for a Vocation Ministry Workshop on Saturday, Sept. 23 from 9-Noon at the McRaith Catholic Center.
