News for the week of Oct 15th

Our Parish Family

Liturgy Committee meeting after the 10:30am mass on Sunday Oct. 15th.  Anyone who would like to learn more about the liturgy and give input about the music selection is invited to participate.

“I have chosen you” 2017-2018 Disciples Response Fund: Thanks to the 45 families who turned in their pledge or        donation to this important collection last Sunday and all those who mailed theirs in! If you were not here there are more envelopes available. Support of the work of our Diocese is important since there are many things that individual parishes cannot do on their own.  For example, care for our retired priests, the formation of our seminarians and operating the Catholic youth camp.  In last year’s campaign our parishioners gave generously to help us meet and exceed our target of $1,599 and we ask you to please consider responding again this year to help us reach our goal of $1,718.  Our parish will receive a 50%  rebate for funds past our goal.

Home Mass Ministry: Fr. Carmelo would like to start celebrating masses in homes on Tuesday afternoons/evenings.  Please contact him if you would like to have a mass.  It can be just for those that live in your home or you can invite your extended family, friends and neighbors, however you prefer.
