Stewardship: Using God’s Gifts, God’s Way for God’s Glory—If you missed mass here last week please consider filling out a contact sheet to update your info in our system as well as a commitment form to let us know which ministries you are interested in.  Thanks to all those who have so generously offered their time, talent and treasure to further God’s Kingdom and give him glory!

Parish Council “Elections”: This Sunday we will choose two new members by lot to serve on the parish council from those who accepted their nomination.  Thanks to Greg Sugg & Michael Coomes who have           finished their three years on the council.  Thanks for serving our parish family in this ministry!

Sebree Christian Outreach: During the month of          February St. Michael’s helps to staff the Outreach.  If you can help during the week to sort through donations or Saturdays 9am to 12pm please let Rosie know!

Soup Sunday February 19th: The Altar Society would like to invite everyone in the parish to bring soup or a dessert and share some fellowship in the parish hall on Sunday, Feb. 19th after the 10:30am mass.  We will also celebrate Fr. Carmelo’s naturalization as a U. S. Citizen.

Our Local Community

Habitat for Humanity Accepting Applications now until March 31st if you know of someone in the                 Henderson or Sebree area who would be a good               candidate to receive a new home.  Applications are available at the ReStore 132 Carlisle St. in Henderson.

Catholic Men’s Conference of Western Kentucky

Feb. 11 2017 at the RiverPark Center in Owensboro, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Join us in the quest to enrich our faith.  Explore what it means to be a Catholic Man in a secular world.  The conference is open to men who are high school seniors or older.  The cost is $30/adults and $15/students. www.kycatholic.com or call Randy at (270) 316-5067.

March 10-12 Women’s Retreat: “Called by Name”
at Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat                 Center. Retreatants will be invited to walk along the dusty roads of Gospel lands and the concrete sidewalks of today, reflecting on the power and mystery of being named. They will be invited to listen for the voice of God calling their own name in love. Led by Ursuline Sister Cheryl Clemons. The $180 fee includes meals and accommodations. Married Couples Retreat: Our Diocesan Family Life Office is sponsoring “Living the Gift of Marriage,” at Lake Barkley State Resort Lodge in Cadiz, KY on March 25-26, 2017.  Mario Sacasa from New Orleans will lead the retreat. The deadline to register is February 24.
