Thinking about Separation or Divorce? – Is your marriage or that of a relative or friend heading for divorce? Do you know how to save that marriage? Or do you feel helpless? Retrouvaille (pronounced retro-vi with a long i) is designed to help troubled marriages regain their health. It helps spouses uncover or re-awaken the love, trust and commitment that originally brought them together. The program is highly successful in saving hurting marriages, even bringing reconciliation to  couples who have already separated or divorced. For  confidential information about or to register for the August program beginning with a weekend on Aug 18-20, 2017, call the Family Life office at 270-852-8346,  or email: felliott3232@yahoo.com or visit the web site at www.retrouvaille.org

“Healthy Grieving” Sept. 5 The next monthly Evening with an Ursuline dinner and presentation will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 5. “Responding to our Losses through Healthy Grieving” will be presented by Ursuline Sister Vivian Bowles. What we tell ourselves about loss (death, unemployment, illness, divorce, accident, etc.) is usually what determines our ability to cope. We will explore spiritual and psychological resources that can give us sanity, create inner peace, and even allow us to lovingly journey with others who are experiencing losses. The dinner and presentation is from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat Center (located 12 miles west of Owensboro, Ky., on Hwy. 56). The cost is $20. Preregistration is required by contacting Kathy McCarty at 270-229-0206or kathy.mccarty@maplemount.org. For a list of all Evening dates and topics, visit ursulinesmsj.org.
