A Lector primary role is to proclaim Scripture with a joyful and exuberant voice during any Sunday mass or special liturgy. We do ask that if you are scheduled, please do arrive 10 minutes early. Our Lector book is available to use as a resource for practice prior to your ministry. We are always looking for more volunteers who can proclaim the Word clearly.
EUCHARISTIC MINISTER
A Eucharistic Minister distributes the Body and Blood of Christ at Sunday Masses and special liturgies. Please arrive 10 minutes and if possible if you can help setup for our next, we would love the help. Join this ministry if you are someone who adores Christ in your life and wants to share His gift with others.
ALTAR SERVER
Anyone can serve in this attentive ministry that primarily assists our priest throughout mass. In order to begin mass appropriately, please arrive 15 minutes early.
SACRISTAN
A Sacristan helps prepare our worship space for mass and assures all liturgical ministers are present. This includes asking a family to take up the gifts and helping after mass in preparation for the next celebration. Arrival of 30 minutes prior to mass is necessary. If you have a keen attention to detail, are reliable and love the Lord, we would love to add you to our ministers schedule.
MUSIC
A music minister provides music for Sunday Masses and special liturgies by singing with our scheduled pianist. Uniquely, we are parish who sings our psalms from the ambo and are asking all music ministers to arrive 30 minutes early for a short practice before mass.
HOSPITALITY
Hospitality ministers welcome all who enter our parish doors, takes up the collection during mass, assists in helping members of our parish family find seats, and finally hands out bulletins. Since there is much to be done, please come 30 minutes prior to the beginning of mass.
