This team ministers to those who are new and returning to our parish family. Our hope is that all who walk through our church doors feel at home in our community.
ALTAR SOCIETY
This group, focused on women community team-building, meets every 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:30 PM. We serve our parish in many ways, however most of our ministry is dedicated to supporting our liturgies through environmental decorating and organization of social parish events.
FIESTA
This group helps plan and organize many parish-wide celebrations throughout the year. We are hoping to work towards establishing an event at least once a month at our parish center.

FINANCE COUNCIL
This council supports the parish staff in regards to our establishing as well as upholding the mission of St. Michael's Catholic Church. We listen attentively to the members in our parish family, meet for 90 minutes every 2 months and work to plan long-term parish goals.
STEWARDSHIP
This particular council organizes our parish finances by keeping our parish budget on track for each fiscal year. We meet every 3 months for 90 minutes and believe that we should be good stewards of all the gifts God has given us.
FUNDRAISING
Our annual budget is important us and at time extra support is needed. Through fundraising, we are able to help our regular mass collection by adding parish events throughout the year in order to keep our parish functioning. Thanks to this team, we have dedicated individuals wiling to share their creative ideas and local connections with our parish staff in our meetings every 3 months for at least 6 hours.
BUILDING GROUNDS & CHURCH CLEANING
This group oversees the up-keep of our church buildings which includes indoor and outdoor maintenance. We are asking for assistance in finding regular teams to help once a month for 2 hours clean our worship and parish hall spaces.
PARISH ARCHIVES
The archives team helps organize parish records and also maintains our parish library which allows parishioners to borrow books and movies from our parish hall.
SAFE ENVIRONMENT
As part of the Diocese of Owensboro, we are very serious about our diocesan Safe Environment policies. From training, filing permission slips and being a mandated reporter, it is our upmost importance to see that our families and their children are protected.
