Our Parish Family

Fish Fry April 21st, 6:30pm: The Knights of            Columbus had such a good time cooking for the parish they decided to add another fish fry after Easter! Join them for some food and fellowship at 6:30pm. Bring a side dish, dessert or a donation!

Knights of Columbus Raffle: The Knights are selling raffle tickets $5/each for a washer and a dryer or for $500 as a fundraiser.  They will be available at the fish fries or you can ask Charles Buchanan or Irvin Joaquin for more info.

First Communion Prayer Day: Parents, godparents and the children that will make their First Communion on April 30th are asked to attend a prayer day on         Sunday, April 23rd from 1:30-5pm in the parish hall.

Our Community

Easter Sunrise Service: Each year the Christian           community in the Sebree area is invited to gather at a 6am service at Sebree First Christian Church (across from funeral home).  Come celebrate Jesus’ resurrection with music, prayer, and preaching followed by a great (free) breakfast for all!

Fifth Sunday Sing: On Sunday, April 30th at 6pm          Sebree First Baptist Church is hosting a Community Night of Praise followed by a time of fellowship. All are welcome!

 

Our Faith Family

Catholic Women’s Conference | Aug. 25-26, 2017 | Save the Date! This conference features Cyndi Spivey, a Christian faith and fashion blogger, and Hallie Lord, Catholic blogger, speaker and author of On the Other Side of Fear. How I Found Peace and will take place at Kentucky Dam            Village State Resort Park. This conference is being               coordinated by St. Jerome Parish and sponsored by the      Diocese of Owensboro.  Bishop William F. Medley will            preside over Mass on Saturday morning. More information will be available soon.

Cultural Workshop | June 6-8, 2017 Just for churches like our, the Diocese is pleased to host a workshop this summer addressing the challenges of evangelization in a multicultural Church, how to interact and communicate effectively with other cultures, obstacles including racism and stereotypes, and how to maneuver toward ecclesial integration versus   assimilation in the Church. The workshop cost is $30 and lodging is available at Mount St. Joseph Conference &     Retreat Center for $30/night. To attend, please visit
