News for the week of Jan 29th

Our Parish Family

IMG-20170126-WA0003Congratulations! On Thursday of this week Fr. Carmelo was sworn in as a U.S. Citizen!  As a parish family we will have a small reception as part of the Soup Sunday planned on Feb. 19th.

Stewardship: Using God’s Gifts, God’s Way for God’s Glory—For the past two weeks we have been reflecting on how God may be calling us to use our time, talent and treasure for his glory.  This week we will be filling out a commitment form where you can mark the ministries you feel called to join or want more information about.  God has done and can continue to do amazing things through this parish family!

Parish Council Nominations: Please write on the commitment form if you are willing to serve on the Parish Council or write the name of another person you’d like to nominate.  Those that accept their nomination will be chosen by lot (drawing).  Thanks to Greg Sugg &          Michael Coomes who have finished their three years on the council.  Thanks for serving our parish family in this ministry!

Sebree Christian Outreach: During the month of          February St. Michael’s helps to staff the Outreach.  If you can help during the week to sort through donations or Saturdays 9am to 12pm please let Rosie know!

Soup Sunday February 19th: The Altar Society would like to invite everyone in the parish to bring soup or a dessert and share some fellowship in the parish hall on Sunday, Feb. 19th after the 10:30am mass.
