Our Parish Family

Fish fry this Friday!  This Friday, March 4th all are invited to gather together for a meal following the stations of the cross.  The Knights will cook up fish, fries & hushpuppies and everyone else is invited to bring a dessert or side dish to share.  Donations will be taken up to cover the costs.

Confessions Available: Here at St. Michael’s confessions are available each Saturday at 4pm and Sundays at 9:30am. If you would like to go to Confession at another time just let Fr. Carmelo know and he will be glad to work out a time with you!  If you prefer a different priest confessions are available at Holy Name in Henderson on Saturdays at 9am and at Christ the King in Madisonville on Wednesdays from 7-8pm and Saturdays from 4-5pm.

Stations of the Cross Each Friday During Lent: Join us from 6-6:45pm each Friday for bilingual meditations on   Jesus’ passion and death.  It’s a great way to enter into the mystery of Lent, Holy Week & Easter!

Bible Study: Mondays 6pm: We will have a scripture study series for 5 Mondays starting on Feb. 15th.  We will look at the virtues of Jesus and how to apply them to our lives.  It’s FREE!  Bring a Bible & and a friend!

Parish Planning Day MOVED to April 9th, 10am-3pm: Everyone is invited to join the parish leadership for a day of reflection on our direction as a parish at Mount St. Joseph Retreat Center.  Please RSVP with Patti if you plan to attend.

Church Volleyball League: The churches of Sebree get  together on Monday nights at 6pm for a short season of friendly, co-ed volleyball games.  Come join the games or cheer on our parish’s 3 teams!! Games are in the Sebree          Elementary  gymnasium.

Schedule for Lent: English Bible Study: Mondays, 6pm.  Stations of the Cross: Each Friday at 6pm bilingual.  Live Way of the Cross on Good Friday.  Fish Fries: March 4th & March 18th after Stations.

Our Faith Family

Youth 2000: Ages 13 to 30 are invited to a Eucharistic           centered retreat in the Owensboro Convention Center March 11-13.  Every year hundreds of youth come to this retreat to learn about our faith, experience an encounter with Christ and have a great time with other Catholic youth.  Encourage your kids & grandkids to come!  Please let Patti know if you would like to sign up!

March 11-13 Women’s Retreat: “The Tender Mercy of Our God” “The Tender Mercy of Our God: Jesus and Gospel Women” is the theme of a women’s retreat the weekend of March 11–13 at Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat Center. Retreat leader is Sister Cheryl Clemons, OSU. The $180 fee includes meals and accommodations. Commuters can attend for $130. Take 10 percent off the cost if paid in full by Feb. 11.
