Our Parish Family

Communal Penance Service this Wednesday!  On Dec. 16th at 6pm we will all have the opportunity to experience God’s mercy in a profound way through the Sacrament of Penance.  Please consider attending as we kick off this Year of Mercy.  Fr. Tony Shonis & Fr. Carmelo will be hearing individual confessions after a short reading & reflection.

Advent Scripture Study: You are invited to the last part in the Advent Bible Study series at 6pm Monday, Dec. 14th to help us prepare spiritually for the Christmas season.  It will be a very popular video-based study by Jeff Cavins with time for sharing & discussion.  Invite your friends and family!  Check out the FB event for more info:

Christmas Mass Schedule: on Dec. 24th we will have Mass in English at 5pm, Mass in Spanish at 7pm and on Dec. 25th we will have mass at 12pm (language will depend on who is here).  Invite your friends &  family who may be looking for a church home to celebrate the holidays!

Holy Day Jan. 1st: On January 1st the Church celebrates Mary, Mother of God (Holy Day of Obligation).  Here at St. Michael’s we will have vigil masses on Dec. 31st in English at 5pm and in Spanish at 7pm as well as a bilingual mass on Jan. 1st at 12pm.

“A Father Who Keeps His Promises” begins Jan. 7 at the Mount: A new monthly study of the book, “A Father Who Keeps His Promises,” by Scott Hahn, is taking place at Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat Center beginning Jan. 7. The book focuses on God’s covenant Love in Scripture. It explains how God patiently reaches out to us — despite our faults and shortcomings — to restore us into relationships with his divine Family.
