Volunteers are needed to clean the Parish Center (former rectory) on a rotating basis.

Help is needed at the Sebree Christian Outreach to sort clothes & assist clients each Saturday 9am-12pm in June

St. Michael’s will help man the food booths at the          Sebree Summerfest June 19th from 9-11pm.  If there are enough volunteers we could also host a booth for face painting, kids games or a dessert to sell to raise money.

Our Parish Family

Brunch & Dedication on May 24th: Everyone is          invited to stay after the 10:30am mass for free brunch and a blessing and dedication of the Our Lady of               Guadalupe Parish Center (“Guadalupe Center”) and the Fr. Carl Glahn Parish Hall (“Glahn Hall”) in honor of our founding pastor who passed away in January.

Appreciation Dinner: All of those who serve the Parish in some capacity (in the liturgy, cleaning, religious ed, parish & finance council, etc) are invited to an appreciation dinner on May 31st from 4-7pm in the rectory.

Congratulations to Kolten Lynn and Lorena Velazquez from our parish family who graduated from High School this week!    Congratulations to Guillermo & Emilio who will be baptized on Sunday!

Our Local Community

NA & AA Groups: Would you be interested in helping get a Narcotics Anonymous group started here in Sebree? Either as a group leader, participant, accountability partner, guest speaker, donor, etc? Let Patti know. If you are interested in AA please call Wayne at 812-453-9666 (English) or Orlando at 270-315-0434 (Spanish).

Local Job Bank: If you or someone you know could offer a job, either a day’s work or ongoing employment, please give your contact info & the details to Patti to pass on to the Ministerial Association.

Our Faith Family

Your Input Needed: In anticipation for the Diocese of Owensboro Pastoral Plan, Bishop Medley seeks your input once again and invites your participation at the second of the three rounds to be held across the diocese.

These Sessions will be held at the following locations:

Wed., May 27 – Christ the King Parish, Madisonville, 6:00-8:00

Thursday, May 28 – Holy Spirit Parish, Bowling Green, 6:00-8:00

Christian Leadership Institute (CLI): The Diocesan Office for Youth Ministry is once again sponsoring CLI which will be held June 21-26, 2015, at the Mount St. Joseph Retreat Center. CLI will help youth develop their leadership skills. If you know of any young people, ages 15-19 that are now or would like to be leaders in the parish or school please let Patti know ASAP.

Sophia Awards Nominations needed: We invite anyone who wants to nominate an individual to fill out the form and return it. (This form is also available online at rcdok.org/sophia.) This process is open to all people in the pews and the recipients will be notified by the diocese. Anyone sixty-five or older who has not previously received a Sophia Award is eligible for nomination. A person can be nominated on past outstanding contributions and can be homebound.
