Members of the local Knights of Columbus are cooking brunch on May 24th after the 10:30am mass, if you are able to help please let Charles know.

Our Parish Family

Parish Council meets Monday, May 11th at 6pm.  If you have a concern or something the council needs to discuss please let a Parish Council member know: Greg Sugg, Jenny Glenn, Valerie Newell, Michael Coomes, Peggy Howell & Devin Gibson.

Brunch & Dedication on May 24th: The former rectory (next to the Parish Hall) is now being used for classrooms/meeting rooms and the Parish Council has named it the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Center. (“Guadalupe Center”) We will have an official dedication with brunch after the 10:30am Mass on May 24th.  Come join us!  We will also rededicate the Parish Hall to be officially named the Fr. Carl Glahn Parish Hall (“Glahn Hall”) in honor of our founding pastor who passed away in January.

NA & AA Groups: Would you be interested in helping get a              Narcotics Anonymous group started here in Sebree?  Either as a group leader, participant, accountability partner, guest speaker, donor, etc?  Let Patti know.  If you are interested in AA  please call Wayne at 812-453-9666 (English) or Orlando at 270-315-0434 (Spanish).

Local Job Bank: If you or someone you know could offer a job, either a days work or ongoing employment, please give your contact info & the details to Patti to pass on to the            Ministerial Association.

Our Faith Family

Special Collection for Nepal: This weekend, May 9th & 10th we will hold a special collection at all masses to support those affected by the earthquake in Nepal.  The donations will be sent to Catholic Relief Services.  You can also give quickly and securely online: www.smsebree.org/online-giving

Your Input Needed: In anticipation for the Diocese of         Owensboro Pastoral Plan, Bishop Medley seeks your input once again and invites your participation at the second of the three rounds to be held across the diocese.

These Sessions will be held at the following locations:

Monday, May 18 – St. Romuald Parish, Hardinsburg, 6:00–8:00

Tues., May 19 – Sts. Joseph and Paul Parish, Owensboro, 6:00-8:00

Thursday, May 21 – St. Frances de Sales Parish, Paducah, 6:00-8:00

Wed., May 27 – Christ the King Parish, Madisonville, 6:00-8:00

Thursday, May 28 – Holy Spirit Parish, Bowling Green, 6:00-8:00

Sophia Awards Nominations needed: We invite anyone who wants to nominate an individual to fill out the form and return it. (This form is also available online at rcdok.org/sophia.) This             process is open to all people in the pews and the recipients will be notified by the diocese. Anyone sixty-five or older who has not previously received a Sophia Award is eligible for nomination. A person can be nominated on past outstanding contributions and can be homebound.

Priesthood Ordinations: May 30th at 10am at St. Stephen Cathedral in Owensboro.  Come join us as Michael Charles Ajigo and Gary Clark receive Holy Orders as they are          ordained to the priesthood for our diocese. All are welcome!

Pilgrimage to France: You’re invited.  Please join Bishop Medley on a pilgrimage to the Catholic shrines of France.
