Our Parish Family

Lent is Coming!  February 14th is Ash Wednesday.  We will have masses at 12pm Bilingual, 6pm in English and 7pm in Spanish.  Also on Sundays during Lent at 9am we will have a Breakfast Bible Study in the parish hall!  Come enjoy some breakfast, video lesson & discussion led by Deacon Chris and Fr. Carmelo.  It will finish in time for the 10:30am Mass.  The theme will be on Encountering God in Prayer to follow this year’s theme of the diocesan evangelization plan.

New Parish Picture Directory is here!  If you already      ordered & paid you can pick one up.  There are extras if you didn’t get a chance to order one but you would still like one. Please put your $15 payment in an envelope in the collection with your name and phone number.

Sebree Christian Outreach: Please lend a hand from 9am to 12pm on a Saturday during February as is it our parish         family’s turn to help staff the Outreach.  (More info on p. 2)

Catholic Men’s Conference of Western Kentucky will host their seventh annual conference at the RiverPark Center in downtown Owensboro on February 17, 2018.  Keynote speakers this year will be Christopher West and Doug Barry. Mr. West is a best-selling author, speaker, teacher, and expert in John Paul II’s “Theology of the Body.” Mr. Barry is the host for EWTN’s “Battle Ready,” a mission to help strengthen and encourage the soldier of Christ. Tickets are $15 for students and $30 for adults. Buy them online at kycatholic.com.

Mark your Calendars!  Diocesan Married Couple’s Retreat: the 2018 married couple retreat “Encountering the Gift of Marriage” will be the weekend of April 13-15 at Kenlake State Resort Lodge in Hardin, KY. Please save the date and make plans to attend. The 30 couples who attended last year had a tremendous time. This year’s retreat leader will be Bob Perron, co-founder of Catholic Family and Marriage, Inc. More info coming soon!
